SCV Camp 1323 Chaplain's Page

"BLESS THE LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name. Bless the LORD. O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Who forgiveith all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases; Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies. . . " (Psalm 103:1-4).

 

 

"GOD IS our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble" (Psalm 46:1).

"Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it" (Psalm 34:14).

"[M]an doth not live by bread only, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of the LORD doth man live" (Deuteronomy 8:3).

Robert E. Stemple, Camp 1323's chaplain, attended the 2009 SCV Chaplain's Conference in Gulfport, Mississippi. The attendees enjoyed spiritual fellowship and honoring their southern ancestors. While touring the fort located on Ship Island, the chaplains and their guests sang Dixie.
